IF YOU NEED HELP

If you need help or want to help someone in danger of committing suicide:

CALL 911! If you or the person you are helping are in immediate physical danger CALL 911. This is an entirely appropriate response. Taking yourself or the endangered individual to a local emergency room is also an option.

CALL 1-800-273-TALK - This is the number for the National Suicide Prevention Hotline run by a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. They have a separate hotline for VETERANS: 1-800-273-8255 and PRESS 1
